Pleasant Valley Museum

During Pleasant Valley Days (the third weekend in July) enjoy a bit of history as the museum opens up to the public. The area was involved in the "Pleasant Valley War" in the late 1800s. A long time feud between two families, the Grahams and the Tewksburys. The flashpoint precipitating the feud was grazing rights-cattle versus sheep. Every last member of each family is now deceased. Enjoy the monuments, plackard and old farm instruments that can be found around the exterior of the museum. Gravesites of the family can be found in the cemetery next door. Both the museum grounds and cemetery are open and free to the public.
